end-user licence
Scope
These terms describe authorised use of Square Connector, an internal application operated by Hillen Consulting. The service is not offered for public signup or sale. The public website provides information and support; production accounting synchronisation is not yet enabled.
Limited internal licence
Hillen Consulting permits its authorised operator to access and use the application for the business’s own accounting workflows. This permission is limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable. It does not grant rights to resell the service, provide third parties with account access, or use the application with companies the operator is not authorised to manage.
Account authority and acceptable use
Use only accounts and data you are authorised to access. Keep credentials secure, protect operator access and report suspected misuse promptly. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or use it unlawfully. Authorisation to use this application does not replace the terms of Intuit, Square or other providers.
Testing and accounting responsibility
The current connector is a development prototype. Its initial synthetic scenarios have been tested in a QuickBooks sandbox. That testing does not establish correctness for every transaction type or tax situation. Review mappings, taxes, refunds and reconciliation results before any future production import. The application is not accounting, tax or legal advice. The business remains responsible for its records, review and filings.
Availability and changes
The internal service may be changed, suspended or unavailable during development, maintenance or provider outages. No uptime or support-response guarantee is offered. Hillen Consulting may withdraw access where needed for security or to end the internal project.
Disconnection and records
The operator may disconnect through the restricted connector or revoke the app’s access in QuickBooks. Disconnection stops future authorised access; it does not reverse transactions already created. Contact support about retained data and correction of accounting records. The privacy policy explains information handling.
Intellectual property and third parties
Rights in the application and its original content remain with their respective owners. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc.; Square is a trademark of its respective owner. Square Connector is an independent Hillen Consulting project, not an official Square or Intuit product. No endorsement or partnership is represented.
Applicable rights and support
Nothing in these terms excludes rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. For support or questions about these terms, contact support@hillen-online.net. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
